Growing up in Berkeley; UC Berkeley, 1944-1947: Blue and Gold, Panile and Prytanean honor societies, Mortar Board, WWII; marriage, children, volunteer activities through the 1950s: Prytanean Alumnae, UC alumni class secretary; Save San Francisco Bay Association: growth and evolution of the organization 1964-1998, relationships between board and staff, developing special projects, raising funds, resolving internal conflicts; comments on Save the Bay founders Esther Gulick, Catherine Kerr, and Sylvia McLaughlin, and longtime staff member Barry Nelson. Appended 1987 interview with Janice Kittredge, "Making Blake House into a Graduate Women's Residence, 1963-1965."
